Class Medical is starting 2026 on a very positive note, as we have entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with Teleflex, a global leader in medical technologies, to bring the TUCSV® (TransUrethral Catheter Safety Valve) to patients and healthcare providers across the UK and Europe.
Beginning this January 2026, this collaboration will see the TUCSV® launched in the United
Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
At Class Medical, our mission is to eliminate preventable trauma through safety by design. The TUCSV is a groundbreaking innovation that effectively eliminates the risk of catheter balloon injury by ensuring the anchoring balloon cannot be inflated until it is safely positioned within the bladder.
To achieve this vision at scale, Teleflex is our ideal partner. Their reputation as one of the most trusted names in Urology Care is built on a commitment to improving patient outcomes across the entire continuum of care. Teleflex’s deep clinical roots in the Acute setting will ensure that our safety technology is integrated into high-acuity hospital environments, while their extensive leadership in Homecare allows us to protect patients in the community, where the majority of long-term catheterisations occur.
Together, we are empowering clinicians, patients, and healthcare systems with reliable, evidence-based solutions that support safer, more confident, and more cost-effective care.

Daniel Forde, CEO of Class Medical, stated that "This partnership represents a powerful synergy between innovative Irish engineering and global clinical leadership. By collaborating closely with the Teleflex team, we are ensuring that our shared commitment to patient safety translates into a new European standard of care. This cooperation is about more than distribution; it is about combining our expertise to solve a critical clinical challenge and ensuring that every patient, whether in a hospital or at home, is protected from unnecessary injury."
By combining Class Medical’s innovative safety technology with Teleflex’s world-class distribution network and clinical heritage, we are one step closer to a world where catheter balloon injuries are a thing of the past.
We look forward to a successful rollout and to supporting clinicians across these countries in making the TUCSV® the standard of care for indwelling catheterisation.
